About Maria
My story begins when I became ill with work-related stress and found myself unable to work for a period of 11 months. I was working in Adult Education at that time and my role was helping, supporting and empowering people to reach their true potential and connect with their worthiness by addressing their literacy and numeracy skills. As the service grew, the organisation was moving further and further away from helping people on a deeper level.
My role was changing and I was losing my connection to helping people at a deeper level. I lost my connection to my ‘why’. This drove so much stress in my body, causing an energetic disturbance because I was pushed onto a path that didn’t support me. Esker Fields was born out of my drive to connect to my WHY which is helping people value themselves through taking care of themselves using beautiful products.
One of the most powerful things a person can do for themselves is to take care of him/herself. I know first hand that you cannot pour from an empty cup – you can’t support your family; you can’t support friends, customers or clients if you are constantly running on empty.
